It seems that really everybody knows about Nice or at least has heard about it once. The city served as beautiful setting for many movies throughout the past decades was it for TV or Cinema. James Bond movies and many others. People from the north like Nice particular due to its mild clima in the winter, autumn and spring time. Especially in spring many visitors from the UK, Scandinavia and other parts of northern Europe head down to Nice making use of the many cheap flights that are offered these days by the low costs airlines such as easyJet. Sometimes it is easier to get a ticket for a cheap flight to Nice than Paris. The TVG is also a very fast means of transport and Italy is literally just across the street. In Nice there is so much to do. You would be surprised that there is a higher density of museums in Nice than in most other cities in France in comparison to the size of the city. But of course the beach, Promenade de Anglaise, is the attracting eyecon of this place. The old town of Nice is an amazing accumulation of narrow little streets in typical mediterranean style. Important to note as well is that the Old Town district is where many of the locals go out for dinner and drinks. It has its choice of rather lesser teeming with local expensive restaurants, bars andclubs in Nice. Have Roman style made pizza or a typical french baguette with salad and french fries on top while enjoying a nice sea breezes.
